You are unique and so is your relationship with your counsellor. I take my lead from you, your needs, and your goals. We might explore mindfulness, acceptance, values, reframing thoughts and behaviour changes, emotional processing, self-awareness and personal growth, and how you relate to others. What matters is that we find what works for you.
Your Story
Life happens to us all and it is ok to not be ok. I offer a safe, private, confidential, non-judgemental space to explore your challenges and grow through them. I work with anxiety, low mood, life transition stress, grief & loss, and relationship concerns. I also specialise in working with individuals with body image concerns, disordered eating, and eating disorders, as well as their carers and loved ones.
Your Way
I offer individual and group counselling online Australia-wide. I have groups for 16-25 year olds with eating disorders, individuals who binge eat, and adults & older people with disordered eating. Individual sessions may also be available in person on request. Session times, duration, and frequency are flexible to best support you and your journey.
Hi there, I'm Leanne
My name is Leanne Storey. I am a registered counsellor (Australian Counselling Association, Level 2) and ANZAED credentialled eating disorder clinician. I am completing my Master in Counselling & Psychotherapy this year in August 2026. I also have lived experience of eating disorders, which I can draw on to help individuals and their loved ones navigate their recovery journey. I support a broad range of mental health and life challenges. My priority is to connect with you and your story, in your way.
